Editorial policy
Urban Public Dispatch aims to make street-level urban design understandable without overstating what an observation can prove. We value clear explanations, fair descriptions and transparent corrections.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources when a piece makes claims that need verification, and we distinguish explanation from opinion. We avoid presenting a general design idea as a rule that applies to every street. When a subject depends on local conditions or requirements, we say so rather than inviting readers to treat a general article as local guidance.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are made for reader interest and relevance to the publication's focus. A partner does not receive control over independent coverage. Paid, gifted or otherwise arranged partner material is labelled clearly where it appears, so readers can tell when a placement is a collaboration rather than independent editorial coverage.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error or an unclear passage, they can send the relevant detail through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update a piece when warranted, making the change clear when it materially affects the article. We do not promise that every disagreement requires a correction.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where an illustration could be mistaken for a documentary image of a real place or event, we identify it as illustrative. Images are not evidence that a particular street, project or condition exists.
